This one kind of made me laugh. I had my harp lesson on Sat., and was playing through the left hand part of a piece. I have a problem with a slight tremor in my hands as a result of meds, and it's worse in the left hand, but it's really not bad. But my teacher commented, "Your hand tremors have gotten a lot better in the last little while, did you change your meds?" I said, No but remember I was drinking before. I used to go to 8 am harp lessons, and be in withdrawal and my hands would really shake - not good for playing the harp.
So another benefit of not drinking - better harp playing and neater hand writing. splitimage |

You're right about that! My hand do shake not due to meds, so it does look like I'm in withdrawal, and it makes me mad cause I did have a nice looking handwriting.

Hi Splitimage, thats really neat that you play the harp. My hands dont shake anymore and I dont have real dark circles under my eyes anymore. I was off work for about 3 months and just went back, I look ten years younger, yeah
I can remember when my hands did shake, I tried to hide it, when I was drinking.
