You heard it here first folks. 6 months, not a drop of booze. 3 months, no weed smoking. 1 month, no cigarettes. 2 weeks, no carbs. Who am I???? I really don't know, but I'm glad not to be addicted to anything today. There is always that fear that I will slip, but I believe I can go one day at a time, sober. I can hurt, sober. Grieve, sober. Overcome, sober. It can be done. And I'm doing it!!! Wow!

WOW, LIGHTBULB -- That's FANTASTIC! I'm so PROUD of you!!! That is one heck of an accomplishment! And to quit smoking while you're getting sober?????????? Boy is THAT gutty! That shows REAL strength, and I mean it. You are much stronger than me. I've been trying to quit smoking for quite some time, and I'm having an awful time. I guess I just haven't surrendered yet.

I'm really proud of you and I just can't say it enough! God bless you!!! And remember -- baby steps, one minute at a time if one day is too much!

congratulations!!!

Love, Lee

Lightbulb, Huge Congratulations. And you desrve them. Acheiving sobriety and maintaining it is tough. I'm about 2 weeks ahead of you on getting to 6 months and it's been a bit of a roller coaster ride at least for me. I'm glad that you're feeling so positive about your sobriety,

Keep up the great work, one day at a time.

Great Job Danaflett! Can you believe this is us? I believe it. We are learning how to walk, and walking is going to take us everywhere we need to go. Perhaps it will even take us places we never knew existed. Congratulations Dana! Yours truly, Glinda Gail
