I can't handle being sober because i'm a ghost with unfinished business. God told me to drink so i could realize my own potential in life and being a drunk was part of it. I guess it sounds stupid but I really dont' know what to do.

I don't know what's stopping me from drinking the beer in the garage.

The only thing that stops me is the notion that once you've been to AA, drinking just isn't the same.

I can totally deal with violent thoughts, but I can't deal with the facist mornings.

I'm sorry you are struggling. Do you have a therapist? Why do you believe you are a ghost with unfinished business? Just trying to understand.

Hi Brontoset, I can tell you what stops me, the living hell I went through because of drinking. Its not the solution. You can get through this. I never want to go back to where I was. I was thinking about it this morning. I'm so lucky that I got sober when I did. I still have my health. Your not a ghost with unfinished business that drinking is going to resolve. It was a long rough road for me, I don't chose to go through it again. It is getting better and can for you also.

God did NOT tell you to drink. Only satan told you that. But God certainly didn't.

You're right that once you've been in AA, they certainly ruin your drinking. LOL Stick with AA -- it does work, IF you work it. You've got to work the steps and the program if you want to get sober. But you've GOT to want it more than anything else.

If you DON'T want it more than anything else, it probably won't work.

I don't want you to die. Continuing to drink is going to kill you. I've been to too many funerals of people who just wouldn't quit drinking. I almost had to go to my son's funeral, as his liver quit workiing completely!!! He's now home, recuperating, but the doctor's don't know how he's alive. God HAD to have stepped in.

Again -- please don't die. You will if you keep drinking.
