I'm happy.
Yesterday was 14 months sober for me. The last time I had that long was in 08-09 and I relapsed shortly after 14 months. I'm trying very hard not to relapse this time, and I'm feeling a lot more active and better about my recovery. But it's still just one day at a time. splitimage

WHOOPEE!! I'm proud of you! Good for you, Splitimage!
 But don't even THINK about the last time, okay? This is a NEW "personal best." The other one doesn't count, so we're not even going to think about it. All of us have to do it one day at a time,, so we're all in this together.  It doesn't matter how long ANY of us has -- we're all just as close to a relapse as another. All it takes is one. Personal Best. It reminds me of my racewalking days, and that little movie with Mariel Hemingway where she kisses a girl and apparently likes it! And before she got a boob job. Those were the days...

Congrats on your clean time!! That has got to feel really good
 I second what Leed said. Don't think about the last time. It's in the past and not worth the energy. Try and focus on what you are doing. It's obviously working really well. Congrats again!

Congratulations that is a great accomplishment. Don't dwell on the past because all it does is bring you down and could possibly jeopardize your future. Be proud of yourself and keep moving forward.
