I just home from a meeting (AA); apparently one guy thought I said that I went back out during the meeting and afterwards, he asked if I started drinking and I said no; then he said "You shouldn't say that--people will believe you."

I certainly don't understand his comment either! He's gotta be ON something or NUTS -- one or the other.
Please don't pay ANY attention to him, and steer clear of him in the future. He sounds like a total nut to me.  And in the future, if he asks you any questions, just either ignore him, or tell him it's none of his business! Some AA'ers are just LOOKING for something to start a rumor. I've found that to be true in several meetings. Drives me nuts! God bless sweetie -- and keep on keepin on! Hugs, Lee

I agree with Leed. There are plenty good people in the program. Sometimes you just gotta weed through a few interesting souls to get there.
