Hi sarah, I have a few DXs including ADD and I'm also an addict. I've been out of the drug scene for awhile so my drug of choice was crack. I used meth toward the end but quit drugs before it made things worse. Hey, don't get down on yourself for relapsing--nobody can take away those 9 mos of clean time. Are you clean now? Or are you still using?....D.

Thankyou. I relapsed this week. I want to be sober again and not end up where I was before.

Welcome, Sarah. We have a lot of diagnosis in common. I believe many people relapse during the holidays. A good book I read about meth was

http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0055X5LKG

Beautiful Boy explains a lot about how meth affects the brain. Because it takes a while for the brain to heal it's common to relapse to get back to feeling well. There is a disorder called P.A.W.S which is post acute withdrawal syndrome. I think NA and AA should talk more about it. Anyway you might find it interesting. I have 11 months clean thru AA and my DOC or drug of choice was pot. I have done just about everything though including meth. Message me anytime you feel like it. Peace. Tnt ♥
