I am going to taper off from coffee! Which I've tried before. My anxiety has been through the roof lately! Stupid holidays

I can totally relate!! I love coffee but it's like pouring gasoline on a fire with my anxiety. I slowly tapered down to just one cup in the morning. I can't wake up my brain without it. Do you get headaches if you try to taper too quickly?

Good for you. Maybe buying caffeine free teas to drink will help. I love a hot drink during the winter. Also, watch out for chocolate bc I believe it has a lot of caffeine.

You go! I've weened back a lot. Down to at most 2 cups in the morning. I cut out pop first. I still have the occasional bottle but it's caffeine free most of the time. Next stop coffee and cigarettes.

Haha so far I tried! And have failed. I'm going through a stressful time, maybe when things calm down I will consider this again.

Ok so today I did try! I was feeling wound-up/anxious and was like, ok, how about this? I think it will help me to drink tea after 1 cup instead of drinking 2-3 cups
