So I'm staying in an apartment where my brother and I used to smoke a lot of pot. My feet are touching the floor and rug, where there may or may not be weed (you know weed can wind up in a rug/floor).

When it gets on my feet, it gets in the sheets when I sleep and then gets moved around till it's on my hands.

I find myself washing my hands way too much.

My sponsor says even if a minute amount of weed gets in my mouth, it still won't be a relapse, as long as I don't smoke it.....

I'm still freaking out though.

Thanks,

Brontoset

Your question illustrates how serious you are about not using. In my terminology a "relapse" is a conscious decision to use again...& your situation is nothing of the kind. You're in touch with your sponsor & are doing everything you can to stay clean. I'd try not to obsess so much about the weed getting in your mouth...It's a long-shot that would happen & if a minute quantity were ever to get in your mouth, you wouldn't feel high. Keep doing what you're doing; it sounds like you're doing all you can to stay clean & sober. Keep up the good work!

Well, I can't physically wash my hands anymore times today.

no. you have to psychologically and physically manoeuvre your being by your own free will to use to have a relapse.

anything else is called being drugged or an accident.
