Is this a good thing or a bad thing ? To be honest I like it. It makes me feel safe. I left it with my mum today because I get money in my account tomorrow . I just had a slight bad feeling that I might buy drugs. Is this normal and is it a good idea?

What ever it takes to be sober today! I've given up my money, my stash, car keys ect and it does help however sometimes I'd find a way. It was a lot harder to use, but if I put effort into it, I'll get it somehow. But it is a good idea and if you're open to it then why not? Good luck and stick with it!

I'd say it's a good thing, and you should be proud of yourself for having the fortitude to do it.

It's a smart thing to do.

I think it's a really good thing for you to do. I also think it's really brave of you to admit that having money is a trigger and ask for help to deal with it.

I think its a good thing and your post seems quite positive about it so I would say you're being quite sensible and showing your understanding of their reasons for doing it.
