I havent been drinking near as I use to and I havnt touched a drink in about a month. But last night I drank a whole bottle of wine. I wasn't even aware I did so because i had amnesia from overdosing on ambien. When i woke up I saw the bottle in the trash. I feel awful and like a complete failure.

Ambien has a tendency to do that to people. I've been struggling with the no drinking thing for a little over 100 days now. I once heard it said that failure is an event, not a person. When I slip up, which I know I will, I'll be self-critical, but that will eventually fade. I hope that it fades for you too.
Thanks for this!

Hey i'm an addict. Welcome to the club.

Remember everyone has a different bottom.

You can get off the down elevator at any floor, you don't have to take it all the way to the basement.
