I only smoked weed a total of three times a year ago. But since then it seems to have triggered an information processing disorder. I have been fired from three jobs for showing up in the wrong clothes because I couldn't remember what to wear, dyslexically began writing dates backward in my planner, forgetting to sound with it, not being able to actually so that they just say, "Uh...I'll call you back and hang up on me." It's not my imagination. Other people have noticed my inability to remember dates, to confuse every day, to not check movies before I show up to them at the theater and then they're not there. Is there any hope for me?

I wouldn't jump to blame it on weed which you smoked so infrequently. it looks like you are on Depakote which can cause cognitive deficits as well. I would talk to your pdoc about your forgetfulness and see what he has to think about it. I know when I took it, I would forget what I was saying in the middle of a sentence. I just couldn't deal with that so I quit taking it. check into it. there are many more meds out there to choose from. take care.

Anything is possible but I highly doubt the week caused this. The depakote or the ambien would be much more likely suspects. Ambien can have some very bizarre effects in some people. I use Remeron for sleep and it works good for me. It is know a a weight gainer though for some. I have not gained weight on it. Also there is Trazadone for sleep a lot of people use.

There is Lamictal and Tegretol for mood stabilizers, and I am sure others. Lamictal works great for me.

Dang~ I wasn't this confused when I was stoned. I think I'd start looking for other reasons.

Based on that you only smoked 3 times and the other meds you are on...its very likely it was not the marijuana that caused this. I use it quite regularly and yeah if I am actually 'stoned' I could easily put the wrong thing on and this and that...but smaller amounts seem to significantly help my functioning. Also though if it was the marijuana that should have worn off after a whole year for sure.

The other posters have good suggestions of talking to your doctor about it and considering that the meds might be having side effects...also klonopin can cause sort of confusion and forgetting things a lot to, ambien I have heard weird things about such as my friend getting up and driving on it and waking up in the morning realizing he actually essentially drove in his sleep, don't know anything about the other medication though. If you are still concerned about having smoked the marijuana though it doesn't hurt to mention it to the doctor.
