OK, i just celebrated 17 years and I am just as crazy today (in the present) as I was my first day in. I have been feeling wierd for a few days now and I must purchased some legal smoke from a website. What in the hell am I thinking?? I do NOT want to call my sponsor, she will flip. I guess I need for one of y'all to tell me what to do, because obviously I don't know what I am doing. HELP

Some legal smoke? What is legal smoke, tobacco, nutmeg, Ti stick, or something else?
I haven’t been sober 17 years, but if someone asked me if I thought their taking a mood altering substance was a good idea, and I assume this smoke has some mood altering effect, I might ask then what do they really want? Like the guy that goes into the hardware store looking for a drill. He doesn’t want a drill, he wants a hole. What do you want? What do you think this legal smoke will give you? What about you do you think needs to be altered, and do you think this alteration will make you happy in the end. If you think leveling with your sponsor about your motives will cause her to “flip” then maybe your motives are borne of fear. When I am afraid, I am not standing in the sunlight of the spirit. If I can show you where I am standing right now without fear of being found wanting in one fashion or another, then maybe I am standing where I should be. And if I can’t, then I need to ask myself where do I need to go. Lets take a look at step one: I am powerless over (you fill in the blank) and my life is unmanageable. Richard |

I have started a 1st step on accepting my bipolar DX. Thanks. When I am in the middle of the crap, the simplest things don't come to me.
