So I had a hard time accessing my emotions in therapy last week so I gave up porn addiction. I've been feeling aggressive more. During my recent sessions of therapy this week, I feel emotionally numb. It's just hard to pull my emotions.

Is feeling emotionally numb a symptom of withdrawal? I know it's a symptom of addiction.

Withdrawal from what? Withdrawal from the porn addiction? Quitting any addiction can cause things to be all over the place. Usually like raw emotion but the numbing could be a defense mechanism.

How do I make the numbing go away? I need to access my emotions during therapy!

I don't want to feel numb!! It's preventing me from getting help!

Please help! Are there over the counter drugs that help me feel less emotionally numb?

I don't think there any over the counter drugs that will help. You have to work through it.
