don't listen to others
put yourself first

Not sure if that means relapse? If so I am sorry. To me it doesn't at all mean you lost what you gained in those two years.

I am also not sure what you meant. And I totally agree with zinco.. Get back up brush yourself off and chalk it up to experience or to a lapse in judgement ... I hope this was helpful and supportive... because that is what I am trying to be for you.... be well
Thanks for this!

Well, I was drunk when I typed it so that explains the vagueness. I was expending way too much time helping a friend with a boatload of issues. Actually, that was a lot of why I left AA because it was hard not to put newbies first, and this was a friend from AA. When I told her I was slipping she disappeared. Anyway, it's a no brainer that we can only keep ourselves clean. Thanks for the support.

You've been very supportive and encouraging of me; now it's my turn. Get back on the abstinence path. It will serve you well. I'm not drinking, and I attribute that to the helpful comments that you and others have made to me during my struggle.
Thanks for this!
