So I have been battling depression for 15 plus years. I have finally begun talking to someone, joined this forum and am now taking Cymbalta 60mg. But, I have not drank in 6 years, and. Have recently started again. And I mean ALL THE TIME, like carrying a flask everywhere. I long for the numbing, and when I drink I feel as though I can process things so much better. This is a problem right?

Sounds tough. Active alcoholism is awful. Up to you to decide if you have a problem. There are some online self tests that can be indicators. Does Cymbalta state not to drink when you are on it? Most SSRIs lose effectiveness if you add alcohol. Are you drinking alone? At strange hours? Lots of indicators. Good luck.
