Am struggling with addiction and my mental health
wanted to get vodka the other day i use to go to AA meetings but it just reminded me about drink av gone 3 years without and am not about to break that I have a therapist she told me to go to AA anyway just in case it helps Am going online AA meetings but they dont understand why i will no go to a face to face meeting i take very bad panic attacks so much so that it can be a meltdown me screaming and crying only person that can calm me down is my husband I cant go out the house on my own and i can only go to groups as long as my husband is with me My husband is supportive he dont drink himself and we never have drink in the house

if AA meetings are too difficult to go to, remember it only takes two to make a meeting. are there any people you respect at meetings? do you have a sponsor? give a couple people a call and have them come over or meet over coffee and have your own meeting so it isnt such a big event. maybe that would help and wouldnt trigger your anxiety so much.
