No I'm not pregnant and I don't think I can get pregnant because is my psych meds. I haven't even had period in over a year. My OB says its from stopping birth control after being on it for so long but I know it's the meds.
Now IF I did get pregnant now, I'd have to quit all my BS with suboxone. And that's not easy. The withdrawal is hell and I wouldn't wish it on anyone. Question is, is going through WD dangerous to the fetus? The last thing I want is to bring a child to this earth that's addicted. In my state, they can arrest you for that and take away your child. And rightfully so I think! I have no desire to get pregnant right now but someday, yes. I'm just curious what WD does to an unborn fetus and if anyone else has gone through this? withdrawal symptoms can be tough on the developing fetus, and can induce miscarriage. Tapering off suboxone is a slow process. probably best to talk to a professional regarding pregnancy and medication like this.

I did not stop taking my subs while I was pregnant, or my Xanax. I cut down on both because my Dr. thought that I may miscarry from withdrawal. I worried endlessly about my baby's health, but she was born with no problems that we know of. I had two miscarriages before I got pregnant with my daughter. Both times I stopped taking drugs abruptly. I do think that withdrawal can be a very negative experience for a fetus to go through.
