I took my first 250mg Antabuse pill on July 22, 2016. Then I took it daily (250mg everyday) until August 3, 2016 (13 days). Can I drink alcohol today (August 9, 6 days off the pill) w/o having the adverse effects?
I read it can stay up to 2 weeks in the body, what are the chances of this considering the time I took it and how many days I've been w/o it? I'm a 23 years old male with height 164 and weight 67kg, practices sports every week and drinks lots of water. Maybe I should wait until 7 days to drink? Or is just extremely necessary to wait 14? |

There's going to be some variability based on quickly your body metabolizes the drug, so no one can give you a "for sure" answer. All I know is that it's not something you want to risk having a reaction over. Drinking on Disulfiram is horrible - you'll wish you were dead.
I'd recommend waiting the full suggested time. splitimage |

Does this mean it's safe to, let's say, finish the whole 250ml bottle? |

Ok, just to let you know that I did drink the 250ml shortly after my last post. Stupid and risky decision, yes. But 'luckily' I didn't get ill. Just the regular buzz.

Just a thought: Why are you asking other members on this forum for advice on when you can drink again? I hope you are getting help.
