I gave in.

Just more evidence that I can't do anything right.

Yesterday's therapy session messed me up. We're talking about things I don't want to accept and I'm trying to shut it out.

...why can't I just shut it out

I assume you mean you had a drink. If it has been a while since you had one, consider that a victory in and of itself. Don't buy it. Never having it in the house (I'm not counting my kid's rooms, I can resist their stuff easily) makes a big difference for me. Today is a whole new day to try again! Resist black and white thinking on this issue....

Yeah, I should remember that from A.A..

It's just the only time everything's okay. For the most part. I can PM you for more specifics.
