You can't choose whether to be an alcoholic, or not (IMO), but you can choose recovery if you want it enough.

I'm sorry you relapsed. I've done that many times. Try to learn from it. What led up to it? Is there anything you could have done differently that might have led to a different outcome.

Start over. Don't let a slip become an all out binge.

I think the worst thing about getting better (if that's what you've chosen to do) is the risk of slipping up. I've done it, anyone in recovery has done it. Good luck to you.
