People are pushing your buttons to see if you use/drink...cause THEY did?
I can't believe a certain person in my life is so jeckle and Hyde..and its not even a "bipolar" thing..I'm the one in this particular relationship that has bipolar. He very overly interested and makes me feel like a queen one second..and the other percentage of the time lately...he is not stopping texting when I tell him to stop...acting paranoid...jealous...saying things he knows I do not like about my son...just everything and anything that pisses me off...and I really feel like...either CONSCIOUSLY or subconsciously he is trying to push me to a drink because for the last 2 months he has been screwing up...with coke...and misery wants company. But, if you love someone than why would you do that to a person? OMG..I'm going to scream....I just want to send additional very mean texts to him right now and its making me furious...which is why I came on Psyche to distract myself!

Misery does love company when its about addictions. Even if a person loves you their addiction may need your drinking or using more. Why would I want my drinking/using buddy to quit/abandon me? That kind of change is difficult to balance for someone who is still using. On the one hand, they want the best for you but their demon often calls the shots. Sometimes you have to make very difficult decisions to stay clean and sober. I don't envy your position!
