Awesome news from bizi, childofchaos and splits. I am glad to know I am still chasing Childofchaos; my 6 months will be a Christmas present I give myself. I am really happy for each of you; one week, three months and six months are all milestones to be proud of.

hell I feel I slept through the the crap taking some clonazepam...to go back to sleep and I feel more tired then being up for 5 hours then going back to sleep for 4hours....

tomorrow is sobriety anniversary...no money to treat myself and no money to do anything which is just a rip off!!!

I'm clean & sober, but still take clonazepam as prescribed to stomp down my anxiety when it gets out of control. If you're honestly taking them as prescribed I don't know if you have an issue. That's not for me to decide, though.

Clonazepam is my prn I am allowed to take it twice a day once I usually take it in the morning then later in the afternoon for a nap!

I take Clonazepam 3 times a day for anxiety. I take it exactly as prescribed and don't abuse it. Both my psychiatrist, who prescribes it, and my addictions Dr. are fine with me taking it.

Weight is slowly coming down since not drinking. It is a great feeling!
snacked last night on some pop corn, individual bag has 210 calories,I ate 2 1/2 bags cause hubby ate some. I thought it had fewer calories. oh well. Portion control is a lot of our challenge.

Ain't that the truth!!!

I take vistaril prn for my anxiety. My main substance was pills, any kind, so my docs won't prescribe anything for me. With my pain, I have tramadol, simply because I can't take ibuprofen and the like. But the tramadol and vistaril don't quite do it...

Since I was abusing prescription adderall and opioids earlier this year, I get no benzos, no stimulants, no pain pills and no sympathy. It takes a while to gain trust from others as well as trust in yourself to get medicine prone to abuse. If I get a bad flare (pain), I may get tramadol and have my wife pick it up and dole it out to me. I would like to think I am past it, but if I had some tussionex for my cough, I would probably be pouring shots instead of taking teaspoonfuls. I have had alcohol around and available and not had a problem resisting temptation; opioids are another matter entirely. I suspect the same is true of some other potent prescription drugs.
