I just wanted to share, I'm reading Language of the Heart which is the collection of Bill W's grapevine writings. It's fascinating - I'm just on the early years of
aa and it's neat to see the discussion of how the traditions evolved and the obvious debates over what AA should get involved in. I'd highly reccomend it. ---splitimage

Hi,
Thats stunning, so am I. And I'm at the same part of the book too. Doesnt he write with a wry sense of humour!? I just got to the bit where they are finally financially solvent. I think thats about 1940, at the same time war was raging in Europe! I'm reading another book at the same time, so I'm sure you'll get way ahead of me.  Perhaps we could share our favourite quotes here as we come accross them?? - when we have time..... river
