Couple of days late in posting this, but I am officially done with IOP. They give people finishing a certificate of completion, a poem that they think suits you and your recovery and a motivational image and saying in a small picture frame that you can stand up.
Part of me is going to miss the groups because they were helpful, but I'm also relieved to be finished because honestly the atmosphere wasn't the best. I'll still keep seeing my T, and will go to aftercare which is Fri. evenings from 5 to 7. Don't think I'll start tonight, but will likely start next Fri. I'm also going to continue with the acupuncture. Next up is to write up a schedule for myself that keeps me busy and gets me out of the house once a day. Good morning everyone,
Stayed sober over the weekend, so happy about that. Today I have an appointment with my therapist, then I'm going to force myself to go to my clubhouse for the afternoon, have dinner there, and go to the double recovery meeting that they host. Then the rest of this week is just going to be focussed on cleaning up my apartment. I want it in showable condition by Sept. 1. @splitimage showable condition you selling it?

LOL - the jokes on me. I woke up this morning convinced it was Mon., showered, got dressed, made a bunch of phone calls, and as I was having my last cup of coffee before heading out to catch my bus, I realized it was Sun. Oh well at least I figured it out before I left the house. So in my above post will be what I'm doing tomorrow. Today, I'm knitting.
Greentires, no the cleanup isn't for a sale, it's for recruiting a new house mate. Well I drank yesterday. Didn't get drunk, or have anything bad happen, I just felt like a few.
