One of my big fears around my job hunt is references since I was basically fired from my last job for drinking. But I'm up for a job at a company, through a recruiter, and she had to check one reference before sending my resume to the client. I gave her the name of my former boss. Technically under the terms of the severence, they said that they'd give me a good reference, but I was still really nervous, cause it's real easy to let subtle negative comments slide in. But I heard from the recruiter, and she said he gave me a great reference! Major Relief I know my other 2 references will be positive, so it was only this one I was worried about. I'm now majorly relieved. Now it's just a waiting game to see if the company wants to interview me.

(((((Split)))))))Thats awesome. I hope they start calling you soon. You'll probably end up having more than one contacting you at the same time. That would be good, then you could pick and choose.
