I just now found out that our insurance has been canceled YET AGAIN! DAMMIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This time I'm not as upset as I was last time because the premiums had doubled!! Just like that, they DOUBLED ... AND ... Medicare started billing Jerry and he's not even on it!!! SONOFA*****!!!!

I guess it's just an inconvenience now. Got taken out of our hands. I went to NetQuote.com to get a quote on some different insurance. We'll see what they say. In the meantime, I have to get a letter from Edison saying that our insurance has been canceled so Medicaid will pick up the tab. There goes my Celexa again!!!! SONFOAB****!!!!

I best find a Medicaid dr (UGH!!) and a shrink so I can get on SOMETHING! (Can you tell I'm upset?? LOL) GAWD! Tell me it's Jerry's fault... even if I know it's not completely. I didn't stay after him to call the insurance and find out how each of us could make our own payments. I would've had to pay my own after it doubled. S***!!! And these are supposed to be our GOLDEN YEARS??? HA!

So much for HIS T! Maybe it's a good thing. I didn't like him anyway. LOL Why are some people so bent on breaking up other people's relationships?????? His T offered to help us "PART AS FRIENDS"???? WTF is that???? Major, major RANT!!!!!!!!!! Major, major RANT!!!!!!!!!! Major, major RANT!!!!!!!!!! Major, major RANT!!!!!!!!!!

Called the old insurance to have them write a letter to Medicaid telling them that I'm not covered by them anymore. THEY GO HOME AT FOUR!!!! Now I've gotta wait until tomorrow. In the meantime, Jerry had to pay $130 for TWO lousy meds!!! It's stinkin' highway robbery!!! (Oh, GAWD! My head hurts!! Major, major RANT!!!!!!!!!! )

Oh... and my sweet, thoughtful, dear husband LEFT TO GO PLAY POOL, drink beer and oogle boobies leaving me with all this crap on my hands!!

AAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHH!!!

Don't get near me... I might BITE!!

GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!! Seems the system is SNAFU!

I hope you are still in the grace period. Even when hospitalization cancels, there is often a "grace period" (anywhere from 30 to 90 days) that you can extend it until the paperwork is figured out. I hope this is the case for you...

Nothing seems to irk us more than regular incompetence than when it also costs us money!!!! TC (((sept)))

The most important of my meds for my physical illness costs $600 a box. I'm almost out. I sent off an app to the drug co. to apply for free meds, haven't heard a peep, dr. hasn't gotten any shipments for me. Dumb ****** in charge of processing my state insurance-for-the-poor and Medicaid has taken six weeks and the paperwork still isn't in yet, because she keeps "remembering" things she "forgot to tell me" she needs to get the paperwork going.

So I feel for ya, sweetie.

Hugs,
Candy

Oh, GAWD, yes!!! The State is really good at "forgetting" or just letting the paperwork stack up on their desk!! Such incompetence!! It would be different if they were a money making organization, though!! They'd be "johnny-on-the-spot!!" Major, major RANT!!!!!!!!!!

Ain't life wonderful?!?!?!?

I'm sorry ((((((((Tomi))))))))) I know it can be very frustrating. Ours went up 67%. It was a long fight. Had to go to other companies for quotes.

Your hubby should be more concern about the insurance. Maybe you can get his wallet and take money out of it, and if he gives you his mouth, tell him you're paying the bills - even if it's just a tiny bit.

September Morn - I found some good, affordable converage for my husband in our area through Humana. The medical system has gotten extra crazy of late.

Keep us posted on your progress.

Time to get rid of the pig.

Health insurance sorry to say follows the economy. When the economy goes up insurance goes down and visa versa. I hope that you can get through this.

Apparently you aren't alone so make 'him' deal with this a little. jmo
Good luck my friend.

I pay $30 a month for generic Celexa. That's without insurance coverage. I know that insurance premiums cost more than $30, so you could use that money to cover the med.

And for what it's worth, are the few rewards you get by staying together worth the multiple heartaches?

Hi. I get my Medicare Prescription Drug Coverage from First Health Premier. The co's. full name is First Health Life & Health Ins. Co. So far...I am very happy with them. Knock on wood!!

Have you ever contemplated getting therapy together as a couple?

IMO it's the best way to go if you are married. Otherwise...T's seem to want you to break off ties to just about everyone else. And I don't see how that would help.

Good luck. Take care!!

LOL Would you believe I had one insurance agent call me this morning saying that I will NEVER find a company to insure me because of my pre-existing conditions... like my depression among other things BUT the he has a plan that I will NEVER find with another company...ACCIDENT INSURANCE!!! LMAO I hung up on him! IDIOT! Or is it that he thinks *I'm* an idiot?? GEEEEEEZ!!!

Jerry said that the guy that handles his retirement fund can find us an insurance. I WILL stay on Jerry to call and find out... and I WILL NOT let him rest till he gets us that insurance! Major, major RANT!!!!!!!!!!

$&!&#^&*@%^$! That's incredible, Sleeps!!! GAAAAAAAWD!!! I wouldn't spend that much on just doctor visits in one year!!!!!!!!

BTW, the pig is in denial. That's how he copes. I gave him what for today when he said he "was staying out of my way." The hell he is! He's dumping it all on ME!!

It doesn't bother me too much when he drools over %#@&#!. He's probably forgotten what to do with them! LOL

I'm sure you and Jerry could have an all day discussion about the economy. I don't understand those things because it rarely involves me. 'Sides, I let Jerry worry about that. LOL Maybe that's my problem??

You can BET he's gonna have to deal with it! He's not gonna get away "Scot free" (pun intended)! Major, major RANT!!!!!!!!!!

If I get rid of him, will you take care of me?? LOL Just kidding! Major, major RANT!!!!!!!!!!

Good thought, Wi! I'll have to switch to generic Celexa. However, I'm on six other meds! Major, major RANT!!!!!!!!!! Medicaid covered them all last go 'round. Will speak to my pharmacist about the Celexa, though!

As for it being worth all the heartache to keep him around, I'm giving that very serious thought!!

Thanks for the pointer, Dottie! You can bet I'll be talking to them, too! Major, major RANT!!!!!!!!!!

Jerry is in denial about the reality of our relationship. He insists that all we are to each other is "friends." I've compromised on that point. If that's what he wants to think, so be it. My feelings are different. If everything was equal, I wouldn't have any problem dealing with it. What I have a problem with is that he's thoughtless and selfish in everything he does. His ONLY consideration is himself.

What is it with T's that their first line of defense is to break up?? Our "couples" T did it, too, and managed the breakup. I thoroughly resent her for that! I didn't attend the session last Saturday because *I* refuse to lay out my relationship with Jerry for the T's examination! That wasn't the intent of the visit! ... And then, of course, Jerry abused the opening he got from the T. I closed that door by not going. There is NO BETTER JUDGE than myself of what I can or can't, will or won't do in my relationship! ARGH!

What really gets me about the first T is that she's a "Christian" yet has no respect for the institution of marriage! Again, ARGH!

Sorry for the rant. Major, major RANT!!!!!!!!!!

Major, major RANT!!!!!!!!!! I'm pretty sure you'd gone home when I posted, Mel. No need to be sorry. Just knowing that you care about me is more than enough. I know you understand.
