How do you know? I don't feel like I need drugs, but I feel so much better when i do. I have been suffering from depression for over 20 yrs. I take AD and go to therapy. But I still suffer and have suicidal thoughts...2 attempts.

Using drugs (specifically cocaine) takes the edge off. I used drugs in college recreationally. Now, 15 years later I use drugs to make myself feel better, 3-4 times a week. How do I know if it's a problem? My therapist knows but she doesn't know how often. I know drugs are bad for you, but if I feel better then what the hell should I do??
