I have had issues before with not taking my stimulant prescription drugs as directed. Without these drugs, I have low motivation and low energy. So, I crave anything that gives me energy.

I called in a refill for Pseudovent (a sinus drug - a stimulant) because I'm getting a sinus infection due to stress - this has happened quite a few times before. I wanted to nip it in the bud before it went to an ear infection. Anyway, the pharmacist called me back and told me that the drug was no longer manufactured. I looked it up and from what I see, that's not true. The pharmacist was not really nice.

Do pharmacies tag people who have possible drug addictions? It makes me feel like such a loser. Don't they realize that a drug addiction is not a character defect? So, I have that and on top of that I have attachment issues which are not really highly regarded by others either. Neediness is not popular. I also have OCD which is a joy to behold. I'm sorry for my bitterness here. Sometimes it's just so annoying. Thanks for letting me vent.

Soliaree, I take Dexedrine and its a constant battle with the pharmacy. Either they don't have it in stock or they question why I am taking it. I also have to be careful about taking exactly like it is prescribed--I don't want to cause myself a relapse.

Soliaree,
My husband has Crohn's and is constantly on pain pills for the pain and everytime we have to have it filled the pharmacy gives us grief. Sometimes he will be a week past his due date and out of pills for four or five days while they decide to fill it for him. They use excuses also like, "the doctor did'nt call it in yet" when we know that he did. But be careful with those psudeo- meds they are bad for you. Good Luck
