impact I thought Meth was out of my life. ..... It wasn't. Well , I stayed sober for a little more than a year, I moved out of my home town, and started school. All was going good until I was offered it at a party about 6 months ago. Ever since then, I dont think I have been sober for more than a week. I dont know what to do.?

I don't know much about meth, but I've heard that going on anti-depressants can help though. I'd suggest seeing a psychiatrist about that. Tell him the truth about why you want them so he can prescribe the right med for you. Of course you know that the longer you take meth, the harder it will be to get off. So, the sooner you quit the better. It's great that you are already working out a plan to quit!!
I seriously hope you'll see a doc, AND find a 12-Step program. Check at your school; they probably have something right on campus. They'll help you figure out how to avoid triggers, and the best part is meeting other people who have made it through successfully. You'll need new sober friends to stay clean. Take care, and please keep posting!! emmy |

Besides the advise from emily4040, I have a suggestion;
work at selecting the people you want to interact based on the outcome you want for your life!! Get closer to what ever church makes you comfortable, Nerds are always a good choice ( and I mean it respectfully), people that are not in the environment where you'll find meth. You can party a lot and have fun safely if you suround yourself with the people that don't consume it or relate to people that do. Just food for thought.
