This is the first time that I've decided to come here and ask a question. I'm sorry, but I have been avoiding this section and others that I have been told are "problems" of mine. I decided to check this stuff out today and see if there is anything to what my psych tells me, although I really don't trust him that much, so if you think he is full of it, it is more than okay to say so!

He said the reason I am like the below paragraphs is because of my ED, but I recovered from that for the most part a while ago. I know I have some stuff to work on, but I was never like this before.

I am like ice! It does not matter how many layers I put on, I am always cold. Right no, I am wearing long underwear sweatpants two thin sweaters thick socks and my jacket. I am sitting so close to a space heater that I can feel the jacket getting very cold, but I am freezing! This doesn't make sense, and it happens all of the time.

My friends are always peeling of their coats and sweaters and I'm asking if I can borrow a blanket. What is going on? It isn't because I am too thin because I have plenty of fat on me.

Sick of the chill,

sounds like poor circulation to me, try drinking more fluids and moving around more. it would be worth talking to your doctor to get it checked out.
low iron could cause this too but you would be feeling very tired like you were trudging through mud too.

I was always very hot natured, but I lost a lot of weight and now I can get chilled when I used to never be cold, unless I was sick.

That said... I'm still hot most of the time and my age seems to be increasing at an uncontrollable rate. As you age, I've heard you have a tendency to be chilled more often.

Of course I'm sure you are not nearly as old as me

Yellow,

I guess I could be low in iron, if that really makes you cold. I am a vegetarian and don't eat very well to begin with. Should I just get a supplement?

Being hot natured has never changed, but late at night after sitting for a while, I noticed that I would and still can get chilled. During the day, while active, I am pretty much like I always was (Hot). I've kept the weight off for 2.5 years... It is NOT coming back this time I self medicated with food most of my life, since my ADD DX I just don't eat as much and stop when I'm full.

Iron may be part of this too. Has your doc checked your circulation and done blood work on you?

YYZ, I have not let a doctor put his hands on me physically for ten years. I am not starting now. I'll try the iron pill.

Thank you both for replying.
