i'm someone that was diagnosed in 1999,
finally felt i was 'recovering' in 2008,
but then stomach/health issues pushed me back into food avoidance,
i've just remained thin & borderline unhealthy ever since..
i just go along trying to eat but feeling phobic about it still every meal..
i notice my bmi on the sanity score has me exactly one tenth of a point into the normal category above underweight..
a victory for me since i couldn't manage to keep that healthy weight for many years..

For me, it was until something else would hit me in my life & put me back into the inability to eat again....avoiding food because of feeling nausea, stress, you name it....so when I was at the bottom of the safe place already, there was only one direction to go in & that was down.

One never knows what the future holds.....so for me, one never knows if it's recovery or not???? It's more a matter of whether it's disordered eating or an ED....the line is fine between the 2 choices.
