Hi there,
Just wanted some advice on how to cope with this situation i am having right now. being home for the holidays has put me out of my regular routine, and i am worried that i am eating more than what i usually do. I have been mirror checking so much more since i have been home, and worrying about my body shape and weight every time i finish a meal; compensation is what i have been telling myself to do, but i hasn't been working and i just feel worse and worse. The fears i have that my body shape changing is continously growing, as i have anxiety after every meal; which when i am by myself does not normally happen too too often. Anybody in the same feeling boat, or any advice?? Thanks so much Have a Merry Christmas. Emily |

I can not wait for stupid holiday-backed extra-endorsed eating to be over! The clock is ticking, thank goodness. I know there is a big difference between intellectual knowing that a few meals eaten differently won't change your shape and emotional feeling that it will. Can you share how you are feeling with your family? Would they be supportive, or would it cause strife?
Just a little longer and the holidays will be over. I hope things get easier for you then! Please take care. Thank you for sharing this. |

I am having the same exact experience. It's so uncomfortable. Hang in there, I'm sorry I don't have any good advice, just know that you are not alone.
