My cousin has always been underweight and her friends all accuse her of being anorexic. She says she just wants to keep her weight the same instead of putting on more per year for decades. So she is unhappy. How can I advise her?

I would let her know that she seems excessively thin like those movie stars that sometimes get very sick.

I think controlling weight can be tricky. Too little food and the hunger chemicals go wild. Best thing I found was diet with protein and small meals or snacks every 3-4 hours with no sugar and low carbs to keep hunger under control and keep blood sugar stable.

Keep in touch with other forums that feel appropriate to you

Hi there. Yes, I think I agree with CANDC's healthy sound advice!. Obviously not all thin folk are anorexic or have eating disorders, but generally it's not difficult to spot the difference between the two. Plus being ''careful'' about what you eat can turn into being obsessed with cutting out ''bad'' foods. But we have to try and show we care ~~ that's most important. XXX
