Okay so I'm 15 and a guy.
I'm not worried extremely about my weight ,but I do hate eating. I have for like 5 years now. My system is where I'll either not eat ,or throw up after I eat something *on purpose*. I do eat at least three times a week to like stay alive. It would be like a container of yogurt. Does the fact that I hate eating &rarely do so does that make me anorexic? (sorry for the bad grammar).

hi angelicchaos
only a doctor can diagnose you but it certainly sounds like you have an eating disorder. this can have devastating consequences on your body. i hope that you can get into therapy with someone who specializes in eating disorders to address this. welcome to psych central. you will find we have several forums where you can post about your concerns and receive feedback from other members. you will get a lot of support here. again, welcome

You obviously have eating issues, it's up to you to be up front and honest with your doctor.
There's been a rise in males with eating disorders, it's not just females that suffer.
You've taken you're first step by coming on this forum.
Thanks for this!

I think you should really see a doctor. I understand exactly what that's like, I forced feed myself all the time because I've got no choice. If my family started to worried, it'd hurt me deeply.

Does food not look appetizing at all? To me, food looks disgusting, tasted like cardboard and I wouldn't like to eat it. But that's only sometimes, I loose complete appetite. I really hope you find support. Maybe there's an eating substitute so that you can eat casually and get used to feeding yourself.

I really hope you find help and get diagnosed by a doctor. I really hope you don't drastically loose weight like I did. I really hope you stay safe. This forum give a lot of support so you ca do it!
