What to do. I've lost a lot of weight. I'm nauseated all the time. I've been on the same medication cocktail for BPD for a few years. It was so hard to find a mix that helped that we don't want to touch my psych meds.
I take Gravol constantly; orally & supps. It's the only way I can eat at all. I don't know what to do. Help. ![]() |

I know some medications can cause Anorexia by suppressing your appetite or making you feel nauseous. What does your doctor suggest? Does she/he have any suggestions?

Stress always caused me to lose weight. Then on top of that I was put on a psych med that caused me to lose my appetite while stress was increasing & the need to control something in my life. The weight loss turned into massive weight loss. Ed treatment center didn't even touch on the treatment for that massive weight loss. I was in & out of medical hospitals for several years needing IV nutrition.
If there is no medical reason for your nausea (something I would have checked with a primary MD, then, whether your meds worked or not they would need to be modified because massive weight loss creates unstableness all on its own.....method meds may work for one aspect of your life but not for your overall health. Meds need to work WITH THE WHOLE BODY, mental & physical or they really aren't working for our own good.
