For anyone interested in doing some reading.
![]() I'll find more as I go, but it's really hard to find good studies beyond the abstracts. I'd like to hear some thoughts/opinions on the pieces. I may be repetitious, but some active discussion here would be nice. Recently I had the misfortune of trying psychforums. While there's a lot of activity over there & a few interesting people/perspectives, there are a great deal of malignant narcissists who act as if it's some exclusive club you need to suck their **** to get into... After about a day or two I got kind of tired of that! Hahahha The first one isn't a study, but it's incredibly compelling & controversial to a degree. I'm still not sure where I stand. The mind is powerful beyond comprehension & anything is possible... And surely ASPD isn't the death sentence it's made out to be. In an age where even cancer isn't a guaranteed death sentence, that point of view seems antiquated. But I'd like to see where everyone else stands on that philosophy. If any of you could change it... Would you? And the second one is personally interesting, being female & all. From what I've experienced firsthand with my own mental health history, a lot of their conclusions sound about right. My personal philosophies differ from a majority of my male counterparts & as does certain aspects of my behaviour. I thought for a while that perhaps I've been improperly attributing these qualities of my personality, but they differ so vastly from the norm that there really isn't any other sensical option... But between the elaboration into secondary psychopathy & genderal differences, I'm no longer uncertain. Anyway. I'll stop rambling & allow you to get on to reading the damn articles.
