You hear about psychopaths being shallow in their true emotion when dealing with others. But this guy said it also spans through everything. Like a psychopath cannot appreciate things like art and literature, and he/she cannot get deep knowledge in any subject because of shallowness and lack of interest. True?

Also, a psychopath cannot be spotted at first, not even by another psychopath. Then this other guy said a psychopath can easily spot another psychopath. So..?

I think think it is a yes and no type of notion,
it is unlikely for psychopaths to directly meet then spot each other out, it just doesn't work that way unless they're rivals or partners in crime.. they would then realize they both have psychopathy or it goes completely unnoticed and realize nothing is wrong with them at all.

If the psychopath is a CEO, chances are he can slightly turn his head to the right and see another corporate psychopath sucking into his Cuban cigar whilst sitting on one of those "prestigious", leather chairs. But to sum it up, a psychopath cannot be spotted at first, same as a person with depression, BPD or anxiety.. so his notion is invalid.

This person is proclaiming travesty. I find interest in certain forms of art and literature and I have my taste in music but like any other person, I find other forms dull, uninteresting and unappealing. But that does not mean I lack of interest or introspection. Boredom and being disinterested is a whole other thing from uncomprehending deep knowledge.

This YouTuber is most likely trying to say our lives revolve around boredom and failure to look at the things conscientious people introspectively enjoy and appreciate. /facepalm

I am obsessed with music. I also like art, films, poetry, literature, etc. It's a lot easier to relate to a musical piece or a character you only experience for an hour & a half than a "normal" person. And a ****ton more enjoyable as well.

And as for us not being able to pick eachother out? Just like figuring out any other type of person, it takes time. But it definitely happens after a while! It's kind of inevitable. And it's a very black-or-white type of relationship: you either hate them inexplicably or you get along with them quite well. I've been subject to both.
