I'm curious, to what type of person would each person here consider to be the most useful. Question one is specific: who is most useful? Is it someone that is extremely loyal to yourself but is very undependable and often incompetent; or someone that is very competent and very dependable when they assist you, but are fickle in their loyalties and quick to back out of promises to you?
Second question: what type of person is ideally or through experience the most useful? |

I don't look for loyalty in people to be frank. I think that unflinching loyalty to any one person or cause is pretty rare, most people just can't stick it out.
I don't ask for people to make promises to me, I don't think of people in terms of how loyal they are to me. I am loyal to myself and that is way more than enough to get me ahead in life the way I want. Other people have their uses as far as assisting me with a project, but I play it so the question of loyalty is rendered irrelevant. Loyalty is an absolutely useless quality for a person to have if they are not competent in what they do for the person/cause they're loyal to. |

Hm-m-m-m... interesting... well... personally I wouldn't want either one of them. But then, I pretty-much just keep to myself. So I probably wouldn't be the best person to ask. My perspective is, you just have to rely on yourself...

That's exactly what I was saying. Far better to rely on yourself IMO.

Not for me personally though I'm just one person. I can't speak for all people with ASPD. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

If I'm forced to deal with someone, I'd rather them be reliable, consistent, and competent. So many things in my life have been screwed up because someone couldn't hold up their end of the bargain or just plainly didn't care or try. I'm dealing with that now with my roommates in something that could affect us all if I didn't cover for them.

I have trust issues, but mainly as part of my past experiences. Also I can be paranoid sometimes. I can cold read people though, so I can usually tell if someone is trustworthy or not. Plus, friends and coworkers are the best snitches on each other, so that works.
