I was a teacher before I had a nervous breakdown. I was taking my dog a walk earlier this week when two youngstets said clear enough for me to hear : they are a psycho. It keeps cycling round my head. I know I am not.
Kids don't realise the true meaning behind some of these phrases they use. I was a kid once and I have said things without fully recognising the impact. |

Because I don't want to be known as a psycho. If I were male my behaviour would be justified. I am not unstable.
But anyway I see your jokey spin on it. I miss having a title . I feel like nothing. I am a nobody. |

I'm sorry you had this distressing experience.
![]() ![]() I'm a student of the ancient Tibetan Buddhist "Lojong" teachings. And one of the primary objectives of these teachings is to help us come to the realization that the joys & sorrows, hopes & fears we feel as individuals are the same joys & sorrows, hopes & fears that are felt by all people everywhere. "We're all in this together," as the Buddhist nun Pema Chödrön has written. I send hugs your way... with the hope that you will be able to find deep peace within... ![]() ![]()

My gran thinks it was mistaken identity and the kids were referring to the neighbour. Even though I re arranged the flower pots in the garden because I needed to get out the house when my relatives where not so slyly speaking about me. Thankfully I won't be out staying my welcome and I will finish my HNC and apply to university and it will be a whole new fresh start for me.
