Otherlife if you can't go to the Dr. maybe you need to go to the emergency room. You could also call your Dr. back up and ask him if he can change your meds ASAP. The Dr. can call in a script for you at a pharmacy. Really you should go. Tell your husband that you need to go. Did the Dr. give you a number to a crisis line? If so call them up, and see what they say. Have you seen Clyde's Corner, he knows a lot about this kind of stuff, send him a pm and post a thread on there. It might take him a minute, but he will get back with you. He's really a nice guy. Keep posting so we know you are ok.

I got an appt. with him for tommorrow a.m. He has prescribed propranolol in the meantime, but I will talk to him tommorrow again about Paxil.

Went to my Pdoc today. He has taken me off Seroquel and put me on Zyprexa. I asked about Paxil instead of Celexa and he said they both do the same thing. Overall it was a good appt. and I see my therapist tonight. For a second or two this a.m. at home my DR seemed to lift because I just got up and got ready for work and my hubby took care of my pets. (relieving some of my stress for a sec...)

Otherlife Your Dr. was being mean and nasty to you?Your meds are going to take a couple of days to kick in. I know it sucks, but just hang in there. Have you posted on Clyde's Corner he could really give you some good pointers. Not just that other people there to. If your Dr. is being mean maybe you need a new Dr. Just hang in there it will get better.
