Does anyone have mania phases with their panic attacks, ocd or phobias? I have periods where I am having panic attacks about a phobia and constantly checking things pertaining to the phobia. It is like I am studying for a big test and trying to make sure I have everything straight in my mind. The Ocd really stresses me out anyway, but the times it really gets out of whack, I can't even sleep no matter what I take. I, also, noticed this happens when I am stressed about something. This week my husband was sick and acted like he was the only one to ever been sick. Any replies would be welcomed.

I have panic attacks, but I don't have any mania. Have you seen a Dr. over this?

Hi there friend Looking and remembering back when I was really super unsecure... and meds kicked in...I was totally obsessed with locking the house up... in any possible way... very depressed and very isolated and lonely... I do not recall getting manic about it... just super obsessive And never felt happy Been on happy med's now for 7 months... and starting to feel a bit better But it has not been an easy road Good luck!!!

Super obsessive is the right expression what I go through. Thanks for the reply. I am seeing a doctor is regulating my medications. I see him this Tuesday. He doubled my zoloft dosage last time. He is trying to get that and my blood pressure under control. I just came back from the ER with my husband. His bout of sickness lead to an UTI, so now he is on antibiotics. I am STRESSED OUT.

My mania tends to make me irritable and angry. I just get all wound up and MEAN.

But keep it to yourself please, don't tell me.
And let's all respect each other's feelings.
With kindness, support and "sweet dreamings."

Recently I attended a 12 week Anxiety course
but hearing about the checking the others
in the class did, made me aware of my own checking.
So now I try to "SURF" thru the feelings that not checking can cause.
It isn't easy but it's good to reward yourself when you "SURF"
thru the panic.......Hope that makes sense.
Today I cleaned more of a room in the house full of
hoarded stuff....so I suppose I should reward myself....Does anyone have mania phases???

Hi friend!!!! Try your best to control your stress... and do be honest with your dr... meds can help a whole lot... but need to give them a bit of time
