This is so frustrating!!! I'm still having anxiety!
I got a call from my doc today that all my tests (blood and MRI) have come back fine. The tingling has gotten better, but I still have some in my shoulders/neck. I have an appt with a chiropractor on Mon. Anyhow, I got a clean report from the doc about 9am this morning. About 5pm, I started to panic again!! Stupid, irrational thoughts (like rabies, of all things) enter my head. Why is that?! Is it possible if we have anxiety/panic too many days in a row that our body will just continue to have them out of habit??? I had been given Xanax to help me stay calm until the test results came in and once I found out I was healthy, I thought I would be okay... Has anyone else experienced this problem? |

![]() With my panic, even when it was at it's worst, I would be good IN a crisis. I could think through it and plan and take care of it. Afterwards, from imediately after the crisis had passed to hours later, I would have a major attack. Are you being treated by a mental health professional at all. I found that not only medication (which I realize is not right for all) WITH behavioral therapy (meditation, self talk, relaxation) really helped! ![]()

I have an appt for Friday, so hopefully I can work on some strategies that don't involve the meds.
![]() Thanks for the support.... just odd to still have reactions when my mind is at ease. |
