hi, my name is beckie. i have suffered with panic attacks and probably depression for 10 years. i have acually been pretty good for the last 2 years,but, the last couple of months i feel like i am going back to the way i was. im pretty sure i know why, im in nursing school and there making me drive an hour away to do my clincals. i have my panic attacks when i travel, i only have 6 more months of school left and im afraid there going to kick me out becuse i cant drive to this hospital. whats bad about it is theres 2 hospitals within 20 mins of where i live. im so saddened by this. its just one more thing that anxiety has stolen from

Beckie, can you get some help from a therapist and learn some deep breathing or relaxation exercises to help you cope with the thoughts?

Have you told the people at the nursing school about your situation? Maybe if you asked the school would consider moving your clinical to one of the hospitals closer to home.
