I gotta do my Christmas shopping tomarrow. I woke up today thinking about it. Its got me in a panic. I hate just going to the grocery let alone wal mart and the mall this time of year. All those people there. And you know at least one of them is sick with something or other. And I hate to leave my house when I feel like this. The stores are going to be packed full of people. And for some reason Christmas brings out the worst in some shoppers. They get rude and pushy. Ugh I wish I could just shop online. Last year we tried going late at night. But it was still full! This is going to be hard

On-line shopping is definitely a good way to avoid the crowds. I did some of my shopping on-line. I did the rest of my shopping a few weeks ago. It was crowded and I was freaking out. I hate crowds.I like babysteps idea about going early in the morning. Especially to Walmart. Most people are too lazy to go that early.

I got it all done in 2 days I was determined not to let it take days and days like it usually does.

I have gone out for as long as I'm comfortable, as I'm just not a shopper at all. Much to my surprise, I have found both shoppers and shopkeepers to be friendly and warm. It's been a pleasant experience and I feel more connected to the world

Just a hint for next year........ try buying items when they are on special. Buy items throughout the year if you can.

Bulk buy where possible. This year I bought 5 mugs, 6 Calenders. See 11 presents already. Try ebay and amazon.com throughout the year.

Christmas cards and paper are really cheap in January.

Above all it will be over before we know it.
