it's tuesday at 0740 and i am feeling a bit off. went to bed at 2230 and was up at 0330 with aching jaw muscles and feeling antsy. put on a meditation tape and got back to sleep until 0530. grabbed some sleepytime tea, my anxiety workbook, opened the bedroom window for some fresh cold air and took a .25mg xanax. just didn't feel like fighting it today. it's now 0800 and i am going to take a hot bath, journal, listen to chants, and hopefully either go back to sleep or go over the gyme and exercise for an hour. usually i feel better after a couple of tai chi sets ans some positive affirmation walking. i do a physical checklist and find i am in pretty good shape for 58. may be an afternoon of crawling into a jigsaw puzzle. getting my monthly massage at 1600 and back home to cook dinner.
i have .5mg xanax but i usually cut them in half and only take them when i can't do my other techniques or, like today, when i just feel too tired to fight it or ACT it.
maybe i'm just feeling a bit sorry for myself for no good reason.

Holy mackerel! Sounds like your doing pretty good to me...I wish I could get some order and regimen in my day like that....Maybe the Xanax is bringing you down....It seems like you have reason to feel good! Good luck......Y

i read some of the posts here and do realize i am quite fortunate and i am grateful every day for that.
i think some of the problem is i am still weaning off the statins. i've had problems with them in the past. may take another two weeks if past experience is an indication.
read something this morning in one of my books. they said people have low glucose early in the morning and the symptoms are similar to the initial feeling of a panic attack. they suggested taking a handful of nuts when first waking. going to try that.

Let's us know if that works, I'm curious if that will help.
