now that i'm finally starting to feel somewhat better.. i'm starting to notice side effects.

well, to be honest, a specific side effect (unable to orgasm) that i, obviously, strongly dislike lol

but if the meds are making me feel somewhat better, is it worth stopping that medication and having to find a new one? or am i supposed to just deal with it?

I've had this side effect before, I think it was with effexor, but honestly I've been on so many I don't remember which. It was terrible. It caused great problems in my marriage (as far as our sexual relationship) because my sweet husband felt like he was failing me somehow.

I would mention it to your pdoc if you can. I was always way too nervous about that to dare mention it, but I eventually quit taking effexor cold turkey after deciding I didn't need meds anymore. (Ya, that wasn't one of my best moments, but I learned from it.)

i would talk to your pdoc, and if it bothers you that much, request a change. REQUEST though! i have made the horrid mistake of trying to change my own meds (it turned out badly)

Have your doc change your meds. Not good for your marriage.

I'm sorry that you are dealing with the dreaded side effects, I would take the other's advice and talk it over with your Doc.
