Hello everyone,Recentlly I just found out I have a Anxiety Disorder, and now that I think about it, I should have noticed this a while back instead of ignoring it.
It's bad enough that I had my Gal Bladder tooken out, and I'm only 17. I just dont know what to do anymore, It feels like everything in my body is expireing, slowlly.
I have these anxiety attacks that are so severe, my stomack feels like its being stabed and my head is about to blow off my body, and I cant stop crying when I have them.
If anyone has any tips on how to help control it, I would greatlly appreciate them.

Hello! I have not been diagnosed officially with anything, but I KNOW that I have severe anxiety. I also am young, I'm only 15. I completely understand what you are going through. I have the same symptoms, and I fight the tears. I hate getting panic attacks. Though, recently I started taking these over-the-counter positive mood meds. THEY HAVE HELPED IMMENSELY! With my depression, anxiety, my social phobia, EVERYTHING! it really is amazing. They are natural, and I actually feel normal for once. If you feel as though you have tried time and time again to relax, and you just can't, I recommend finding some natural meds too. I had been giving up on myself, felt so stupid and worthless, that nothing could help me, but that medicine HAS!

Best wishes!

How did you find out you had this disorder? If it was from a pdoc, did they prescribe anything for it? Looking forward to your response. Hugs for you.

Well,My birth Doctor made me do all these tests, Asking questions like "Did you have much mor energy or feel more drained than usual".

There's no other way really to find out if you have it they told me, besides taking this what I like to call "Tests".
They said that it's severe, and I agree.
But my Anxiety is different from alot of people, see I have thought about suicide, and I might say I want to die, which sometimes I do, But I would never ever do it.
When I say things like that, it's just anger.

And TheByzantie no I am not getting professional help, I just found out 2 days ago, But i'm going to be soon.
Even though I think I dont need it at ALL.

Hey BrittenyNicole, I am surprised they did not prescribe anything for this or started you in therapy. Have you checked out the articles on here about anxiety and panic? Exercise works like a charm as well as breathing exercises and meditation. Good luck and let us know what the doc has recommended.

This is going to sound bizarre but don't stress over it. Seriously, it's easy to stress over the diagnosis itself. My tip would be to try to be glad that you know what's wrong because now you can deal with it. Getting a good therapist and psychiatrist would be top on my to do list.

Welcome and I hope being here helps!

Eh, to tell you guys the truth, I rather be by myself, then with a Theropist.
But thanks for the advice Cyran0 and NuckingFutz

My parents help me out, and it's hard to deal with it, but I rather have this diagnosis than be dead. If that makes sence haha.
I'm not the type of person to hurt myself or being suicidal.
Which all my friends think thats what Anxiety means, and sometimes it envolves it, but I would never end my life.

A lot of physical problems can cause the same symptoms as anxiety disorder. I don't think the gall bladder problem was related to the anxiety but the procedure may have triggered chemical changes that triggered the anxiety. I'd ask your doctor next time you see him for follow-up if the anxiety could be related to any other illnesses.

Check this out; the doctor's answers especially:

You have a fair number of concerns listed in your profile and now have the anxiety. I hope you reconsider your thoughts about receiving professional help. In my view, you need to be referred to a psychiatrist for an evaluation and appropriate treatment. What you have be doing is not working. Why not give professional help a go?

I just really dont belive in some random guy explaining me my problems,
Thinking he know's everything that happened to me, when he dos'nt know f*cking ***** about me.
They act like they really care when all there worrying is about
when the pay check is going to come, and how much it's worth.
And, I have Anxiety, and Bipolar, And I have been abused, But I leave the past
behind me and focus on the future.
I admitt, I could use some help on my Anxiety sometimes, But if it get's out of
control, then I will go get help. But thanks for recommending it Byz.
And thanks for everyones thoughts.
