Well, as a nervous habit, I bite the inside of my cheek. I always have. Sometimes it bleeds.. I try to be aware of it but sometimes I do it just because its comforting. Hope that makes sense.

I've been known to worry my lip before, to the point of making it bleed or at least swell. Fortunately I don't do it as often now, but when I do I don't often notice until it's too late.

I bite the insides of my cheek like crazy. I just do it when I'm nervous or bored.

Ouch! I can understand why you bite your tongue, or your cheeks. I am sorry that you have to go thru that pain.
I myself, when I get anxious tend to grind my teeth. Not really grind hard, but just bite down on them hard. After a while it starts to give my jaw a good ache and the rest of my mouth just hurts like heck.
I do it so subconciously that it is hard to stop and I even find myself doing it in my sleep. I wake up with bruises on my side from my wife hittting me to make me stop (that was a joke, but I do do it in my sleep)
Mine seems to come and go, but if you concentrate everthime you do it and tell yourself (even out loud) STOP. You can stop yourself. Try chewing gum or sucking on a piece of hard cand for a while.
I hope this helps.

Thank you, for your understanding. I dunno what made me do that in the first place and I didn't realise until my tounge was really sore. Crewing gum sounds nice!

This seems like a minor problem compared to some of the things you have posted about. Perhaps you should focus on the things that REALLY bother you??
