The last few days, I have massaged my neck/throat (it hurts like needles when I press it and it burns) when I have anxiety and noticed that when I do I can breathe better and my anxiety lessens.
what do you think? |

That's great feary that you've found a strategy that helps you! I might try to use it myself. I think when we're anxious we do tense up (my neck and shoulders are tense - ALWAYS), so massaging our shoulders and neck is probably a good thing to release the tension? I guess that's what it must be, anyway.

I have arthritis in my neck and do a set of exercises to relieve the stiffness. I find it has the added benefit of easing anxiety. You can look them up on the web and choose the ones you like. I especially like the neck rolls.
