I'm sorry for what you are going through.....It's hard to understand sometimes what's happening in our own brain.....and it seems scary....
I think having faith in yourself that you will be okay will work....

you have my hug

I have been there many times. For me, I think I just get so anxious and inside my head that I literally can't move. Like you said, you know what your body is telling you to do, i.e., you're thirsty- you're body is saying I need a drink, but it's almost like you're in this comatose state. You don't want to be but just are. Is that how you're feeling?

Sounds like "frightened rabbit" syndrome. So scared so petrified that you can't move or speak, react or respond to anyone trying to communicate with you. It's happened with me too. My doc thought it was an epileptic thing at first but I told her "no I can hear you and I can see I just can't respond. She told me that it was a type of dissociation
